Statement of Compliance

Following the introduction of the data protection legislation in May 2018, comprising the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the new Data Protection Act (DPA) 2018, Portafina* is committed to processing and protecting personal data in compliance with the GDPR.

Portafina maintains the highest standards of security and privacy of personal data for our employees, customers, and suppliers. We have updated our internal processes, procedures, data systems and documentation to ensure we are fully compliant with the GDPR.

Portafina regularly trains its staff to handle data in a secure manner with access permissions given only to those who have a legitimate business purpose. We ensure that data is securely held both digitally and physically on site at our business location, through secure servers, encryption and password protection, along with the latest hardware based firewall.

Portafina has a stringent policy and procedure in place to detect data breaches and maintains safeguards to secure personal data through automated and manual structures. We have a dedicated Data Protection Officer in place who reports directly to the Board of Directors on all matters relating to GDPR.
